Many of you might know that I have been doing voiceovers for a visual novel game that is near and dear to my heart called DFD.  I voice two of the lead female characters (Amanda and Kathy) every month and we’re up to Chapter 15 now!  The game is produced by Palmer of Love-Joint and is probably my longest running project ever.

Palmer is very active on his Discord and he has a wonderful team of developers working with him. I’m so proud to be one of them, and I know how incredibly hard they work to put out a new chapter to this story EVERY. SINGLE. MONTH without fail.  They’re truly dedicated to their work and to their fans - I guess that’s why we get along so well!

We sometimes talk about what a serious business this is, and though a lot of people on the outside might not think so, it’s incredibly hard work.  We both put in an insane amount of hours doing what we do, pretty much from the time we wake up until the time we pass out at the keyboard.  Hey Palmer, remember that one time….  hahaha

Palmer invited me to do a live stream with him, to talk about what it’s like being in this business, how it affects our lives and what it’s like for me to be “Candy” … or Amanda, or Kathy or the host of other characters that I play on a regular basis.  This will be an ultra casual chat, and will undoubtedly be a lot of fun because if I know Palmer he’s always got something up his sleeve.  So I hope that if you’re not busy, you’ll join us Live… but if not, the stream will be available online for a couple of weeks for sure.

The stream will be held about 13 hours from now - US Time that’s Saturday at 6pm EST  = 11 pm UK time = 12 am CEST.  (That will be Sunday midday for me here in New Zealand - it’s all quite confusing!)  Here’s the link:  twitch.tv/palmer_aif

About Tumblr audiolog, part I (memories)

Welcome everyone. I made 30 minutes recording(s) that are a little memory throwback about the situation from Monday and my presence on Tumblr. That day I found out about the upcoming Tumblr ban of adult content.

Above you have first part that is a positive version. Tomorrow I will publish the second part that has the negative (and rage) and some plans on what I will do about it all around and after 17th of December.

December Script Contest - Now Accepting 6 Entries!

Write - Read - Vote - Listen!    Here’s how it works:

• WRITE - Anyone can submit a script to the contest, whether you are a patron or simply a fan. Scripts should be 1200-1500 words, and must be your own creation (no plagiarism). Very Important: Scripts must not violate these Patreon Adult Guidelines.  The deadline to submit a script is November 25th at 11:59pm PST, however I will only accept 6 scripts per month for the contest, so the sooner you can submit, the better before all spots are filled. Email your script to candy@voicelikecandy.com and let me know either your patron username, or the name you would like to be credited as if you win. 

• READ - Starting November 26th, everyone will be able to read the scripts that have been submitted. Author’s names will be kept anonymous to avoid any favoritism towards your favourite writers. I will post a link to all the scripts on my Patreon, my Tumblr, and my subReddit. You will have until December 6th to read the scripts and choose your favorite

• VOTE - Only Patrons may vote for their favorite script.  If you would like to vote but aren’t yet a Patron, you’ll need to pledge to at least my $1 Cover Charge tier (but I totally encourage you to try out one of the higher tiers, so you can receive some naughty rewards!) The Patreon voting poll will remain open until December 12th at 11:59pm PST.  On December 13th, the results will be announced! (The winning authors may choose to remain anonymous if they wish.)

• LISTEN - I will record the winning script (or if the vote is close, I may record the top 2 this month!) and they will be made available for free to everyone, and will be posted on my Patreon, my Tumblr, and my subReddit as a Freebie.

Posted today on Affect3D.com - In case you hadn’t heard, I am one of the voice actresses for Sophia, (the brunette) - I voice all of her sex scenes.  I was interviewed by Marie, who is the voice actress of Cerene (the dickgirl vampire) and you can find that audio interview on the Affect3D site by clicking the photo/link above.  They wanted to offer me an opportunity to introduce myself to the Affect3D audience, as this is my first role with them (but definitely not my last if things go as planned).

We only have 2 more days until they release the video, so excited!!  Futanari fans are drooling in anticipation of this release, and with good reason.  If you’d like to see some of their previous projects, check out Girlfriends 4ever, and Bloodlust Cerene (the original).
